Finwin & BCU to Launch Nursing School in Dubai

Exciting Developments in Nursing Education in Dubai!

We are thrilled to share that we recently held an initial meeting about establishing a nursing school in Dubai, in collaboration with Birmingham City University, UK. This initiative aims to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals in the region.

During our meeting with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), we discussed the critical role nursing education plays in shaping the future of healthcare in Dubai and the UAE. As a global hub for innovation and education, Dubai is well-positioned to develop a robust nursing workforce that meets the needs of a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

A special thank you to Dr.Ian Jamieson from Birmingham City University for coming down to the UAE with Trusting Finwin International Education to support this massive project. Your insights have been invaluable in guiding our discussions and shaping our approach. We truly appreciate your input and the support you and your team have provided to make this vision a reality.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Mohamed Rishard Fallil, Head of Quality and Compliance at Finwin Group, and Mr. Mohamed Sameer. Your knowledge and experience in education are instrumental in navigating this journey in the medical field. The insights you shared will help us lay a solid foundation for this nursing school, ensuring we meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  Why Nursing Education Matters:
The World Health Organization (WHO) has projected a global shortage of 18 million healthcare workers by 2030, with nursing professionals at the forefront of this challenge. In the UAE, the demand for nursing professionals is expected to grow significantly, driven by the expanding healthcare sector and increasing population.

According to a recent report, the healthcare market in the UAE is expected to reach approximately $20 billion by 2026, leading to a surge in demand for qualified nurses. By establishing this nursing school, we aim to produce highly skilled graduates who can meet this demand and contribute to the well-being of our communities.

The Impact on Society and Education:
This nursing school will enhance healthcare quality in Dubai and provide local and international students with world-class education in nursing. Collaborating with Birmingham City University ensures our curriculum aligns with international standards, preparing students to excel in diverse healthcare settings and opportunity to gain clinical practices in the UK.

"We are excited about this project’s potential and the positive impact it will have on the healthcare landscape in Dubai. Thank you to everyone involved in this initial meeting, and I look forward to making this vision a reality."
